Apple strings files
Apple .strings files are widely used for translated UI labels. LangKit supports basic import and export workflows for these entries.
Separate owner and translator access
Project owners control source changes. Translators can be assigned particular locales and allowed to submit suggested versions without overwriting released values.
Test before shipping
Escaping, comments and newer String Catalog workflows can behave differently from plain .strings files. Check the generated resource in Xcode before publishing.
Common questions
Can I import .strings files?
Supported .strings content can be imported.
Does the platform generate .xcstrings catalogs?
Not as a fully verified lossless round-trip in this release.
Before relying on this in production
Confirm support for your resource syntax and test exported translations in your application. Documentation describes supported workflows, not a guarantee of lossless conversion for every specialized format.
