Draft first, publish later
AI-generated alternatives should be proposals, not immediate public copy. In LangKit the review workflow separates submitted drafts from accepted translations. The project owner can decide which version is suitable.
Protection for software variables
Placeholder masking protects dynamic tokens during provider requests, and output is checked before a draft is stored. Project instructions and preferred terminology can guide translation style.
Budget and access control
AI Studio uses measured provider token consumption. The project owner grants AI-draft permission to translators explicitly, and requests are subject to per-user limits. Inviting a translator does not automatically authorize AI usage.
Common questions
Can translators request AI drafts?
Only when the owner has granted that capability and the owner account has an eligible AI plan.
Does an AI draft go live immediately?
No. It remains a proposal until explicitly accepted and approved.

Confirm support for your resource syntax and test exported translations in your application. Documentation describes supported workflows, not a guarantee of lossless conversion for every specialized format.
